The Effects of Using Online Applications to Teach Vocabulary to English Learners of HUFI in Ho Chi Minh City

This research aims at analyzing the outcome and effectiveness of applying several mobile apps or websites to teach learn vocabulary in a particular university Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC). Under era technological bloom advances applications, teaching learning English is certainly facilitated by these tools; as result, many teachers use some apps, such Kahoot, Quizlet, Quizizz, so forth. In order engage their students review lexical resources. paper discusses how deeply effectively online influence way Vietnamese lexicon they should be used further context maximize efficacy new words. this article, author uses semi-structured interviews with six different interviewees who are currently lecturers HUFI HCM city. embraces questions about frequency, efficiency, self-judgment, ideas issue. Results indicate that have strikingly profound meaningful impact on learning, facilitating students' process enhancing retention. The study also provides recommendations for applications vocabulary.
